Description

The Ontario Learning Development Foundation Inc. (OLDF) is seeking a passionate and highly organized Youth Engagement Coordinator to support the implementation of our Youth Engagement Program (YEG). This 24-month in-person role is critical in empowering youth by coordinating training, supporting volunteer placements, and maintaining active communication with participants and partner organizations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate communication and logistics for youth participants across multiple training cohorts.
  • Maintain regular communication with staff and youth to ensure smooth program delivery.
  • Schedule and support the implementation of training sessions, certification workshops, and placement activities.
  • Assist with ongoing recruitment efforts for youth participants and community organizations.
  • Support youth in their volunteer placements, helping them navigate expectations and challenges.
  • Track and maintain accurate records of youth participation, progress, and program outcomes.

Qualifications:
  • Experience working with youth or in a community-based setting.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Ability to work in-person and adapt to the needs of a diverse participant group.
  • Familiarity with administrative tasks such as scheduling and recordkeeping.
